Refunds
Fourteen days, your money back, no forms. If Dippy isn’t right for you,
write to support@thedippybird.com within
14 days of purchase and include your order number — it’s on your receipt
and in the email that carried your download. You’ll get a full refund to the card
you paid with. You don’t have to explain why, though a person reads every reason
we’re given.
Refunds are issued through Stripe and usually reach your statement in
5–10 business days — that pace belongs to your bank, not to us.
If something is broken — he won’t install, won’t tap, won’t
chirp — write to us before you give up on him. Most trouble is one permission
checkbox deep, and we’d rather fix your bird than take him back. The 14 days
don’t tick away while we’re working on it with you.
Terms of sale
The seller is AAA Martinez LLC, d/b/a The Dippy Bird, of Colorado, USA.
- What you’re buying. One licence for The Dippy Bird, a piece of desktop
software for macOS and Windows, delivered as a digital download — both platforms
in the same box. One payment, no subscription, no renewal — he never asks you
for money again.
- Delivery. Immediate. The moment your payment clears, the download appears
on your receipt page and a copy of the link goes to your email. The link is good for
60 days and a handful of downloads; if it lapses or you lose the file, write to
us and we’ll send it again. Losing an email never means losing your bird.
- Price and payment. Prices are in U.S. dollars, exactly as shown on the
page. Payment is processed by Stripe; your card
number never touches our server.
- The licence. Your copy is licensed for your own use on your own machines
— macOS and Windows both, as many as you own — the full terms are in
LICENSE.txt inside the download, and the
installer shows you the part that matters before it changes anything. Buying the
product is agreeing to those terms.
- You are the operator. Dippy presses Return on Claude Code permission
prompts, only in windows you switch on, and every window starts off. You
remain the operator of your own machine and are responsible for what runs on it.
- Requirements. Claude Code, on macOS (Terminal.app) or Windows
(Windows Terminal). If you bought him for a machine he can’t live on, the
refund policy above has your back.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of
Colorado, USA.
Privacy
Short version: we collect the least we can and sell none of it.
- What we collect. Your name and email address, given at checkout. They are
used for exactly three things: delivering your download, stamping your name into
your licence, and keeping the order record that bookkeeping requires (order number,
amount, date, and Stripe’s payment reference).
- What we never see. Your card number. Payment happens inside Stripe’s
own systems — their handling of it is covered by the
Stripe privacy policy.
- No tracking. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no
trackers. There is no marketing list — the only email you’ll ever get is
the one carrying your download, and replies when you write to us.
- The app is the same way. Dippy makes no network connections. He doesn’t
phone home, and we cannot see how you use him — by design.
- Who we share with. Stripe, to process the payment, and the company that
hosts this website. Nobody else, ever, unless the law compels it.
- Your data, your call. Write to us any time to see what we hold about your
order, or to have your name and email removed once we’re past any period the
tax authorities make us keep records for.
Write to support@thedippybird.com. A person
reads it — the same person who built the bird.
